Pricing
Policies, pricing, and item availability are subject to change without notice. Prices displayed on our site and on our written quotations are subject to final approval at the time of order fulfillment.

Individual product pricing is subject to change. We encourage you as our customer to let us know if you find a better price elsewhere. All things being equal, whenever possible we’ll do our best to either meet or beat a competitor’s advertised price on an identical new item or offer. For all prices, products and offers, Directec reserves the right to make adjustments due to changing market conditions, product discontinuation, manufacturer price changes, errors in advertisements and other extenuating conditions.  High volume bids are always welcome.

Free Ground Shipping
Directec will provide free ground shipping on any order over $1,500. In order to qualify, items must ship via UPS or FedEx ground and have a minimum of $1,500 of physical product on a single order. Orders totaling less than $1,500, as well as next day, second day, or any other expedited shipments are charged an appropriate shipping fee. Freight charges are determined by total weight, destination zip code and originating zip code. Items shipped via truck or other carriers and software licenses are excluded from free shipping policy.

Returns
Directec offers a 30-day return policy on selected items based on manufacturer or distributor return policies. The approval or denial of these returns vary according to different manufacturer product policies and guidelines. If you are unsure of the accuracy of any order received, DO NOT OPEN the product. Contact your Directec Account Manager and verify the shipment prior to opening the packaging.

Manufacturer Restrictions: Directec will attempt all return channels on your behalf. However, due to manufacturer policies (i.e., Dell, Lenovo, IBM, Hewlett-Packard), returns for exchange, replacement or credit may not be acceptable FOR ANY REASON. Defective merchandise may only be returned for exchange or repair either to the manufacturer or to any authorized service center as allowed for under the manufacturer’s original warranty. This list of manufacturers may change as manufacturer policies change, manufacturers go out of business or in the case of specially ordered items.

For further information not listed here, contact your Directec Account Manager. However, in any instance, you must first receive a valid RMA (Returned Materials Authorization) number. This number must accompany your return shipment. NO returns of any type will be accepted without an RMA number.

RMA Numbers:
Call your Directec account manager at (800) 588-7800 and provide the following information:

  • Customer and/or account name
  • Invoice number
  • Part number
  • Serial number
  • Description of the problem

Mistakes:
If Directec errs in placing your order or we make any mistake resulting in you receiving an incorrect item, you may return that item within 30 days without incurring any shipping charge or restocking fee. We will absorb all shipping cost of these returns both to and from your location. Directec reserves the right to authorize product returns beyond 30 days from the invoice date. If we accept such a late return, credit will be issued toward FUTURE PURCHASES ONLY.

Condition:
ALL product returns must be 100 percent complete in the original boxes and packing materials. All UPC codes, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer must be present and intact. Do not label, mark or write on the original manufacturer packaging. If your products ARRIVE damaged, it is best to refuse the shipment back to the carrier attempting delivery. If you accept delivery, make sure to have the damage noted on the carrier’s delivery record in order to facilitate Directec filing a damage claim. If you do not notify us of a damaged delivery within 15 days of receipt, our regular return policy will override any claim of damage and will fall under current manufacturer restrictions.

Return Shipping and Restocking Fees:
For authorized returns, which are not the result of a mistake, you must arrange appropriate shipping at your expense. For your protection, we strongly recommend you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged and use a carrier that provides proof of delivery. Most non-defective product returns will incur a restocking fee that varies between 10-25 percent depending on distributor.

Software:
Only defective or unopened software may be returned within the first 30 days from invoice date. Defective merchandise will be replaced with the same software. Unopened merchandise may be returned as allowed for under our standard Return Policy. Multiple software licenses are non-returnable for refund or exchange unless first authorized by the manufacturer.

Sales Tax
Directec is required to charge sales tax in most states if that state collects a sales tax. All sales taxes are based on the “Ship To” address. If you are exempt from sales tax, either mail or fax a copy of your State Sales Tax Exemption Certificate.

Export
If you are purchasing goods for export, you must obtain from the federal government certain export documentation before shipping to a foreign country. In addition, manufacturer warranties for exported goods may vary or be null and void. If you have questions, please inquire.
